  • Editing and proofreading

  • Author marketing services

  • Branding and digital marketing

These services involve time, planning, creative labor, and project-specific work that begins shortly after engagement.

As a result, refunds may not be available once active work has commenced.

Ink Scribe Digital is an independent service provider and is not affiliated with Amazon, Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP), Audible, or any third-party publishing platform unless explicitly stated.

2. Refund Eligibility

Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis depending on project status, work completed, and contractual obligations.

Typical refund guidelines are as follows:

Initial planning or research phase

Drafts, edits, or creative work delivered

Completed or approved projects

2. Potential Refund Eligibility

Full refund minus administrative/payment processing fees

Partial refund may be considered

Refund eligibility may vary depending on the nature of the service and the amount of completed work.

3. Non-Refundable Services and Fees

The following are generally non-refundable:

  • Rush or expedited service fees

  • Paid advertising spend or launched campaigns

4. Client-Initiated Cancellations

Cancellation requests should include:

  • Project reference or invoice number

  • Reason for cancellation

Upon cancellation, we will review the project status and determine any applicable refund based on work completed and outstanding obligations.

Clients remain responsible for payment for services already performed.

5. Company-Initiated Cancellations

Ink Scribe Digital reserves the right to suspend or terminate services in situations including:

  • Violation of our Terms and Conditions

  • Abusive, fraudulent, or inappropriate conduct

  • Failure to provide required materials or approvals

  • Extended periods of client non-responsiveness

  • Non-payment or payment disputes

If we terminate a project without client fault, a reasonable refund for uncompleted work may be issued where appropriate.

6. Revisions and Service Concerns

Client satisfaction is important to us.

If concerns arise regarding deliverables or services:

  • Clients are encouraged to communicate concerns promptly

  • Revisions may be provided according to the agreed project scope

  • We will make reasonable efforts to address project-related issues in good faith

Refund requests should not be submitted before reasonable revision opportunities have been completed.

7. Refund Processing

Approved refunds are typically processed within 7–10 business days.

Refunds will generally be issued to the original payment method used during purchase.

Processing times may vary depending on financial institutions or payment providers.

8. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Clients are encouraged to contact us directly to resolve concerns before initiating chargebacks or payment disputes.

Submitting fraudulent or unjustified chargebacks after services have been delivered may result in suspension of services and additional dispute documentation being provided to payment processors.
